2 Hand Tapping, Walking Bass, Polyrhythms, Latin Rhythms, Arpeggios, Chord Theory & Banjo Styles
"Last year while attending a Chet Atkins Society event in Nashville, I caught a young jazz guitarist performing a few solo sets which knocked me and everyone else out. You can’t confuse Craig Wagner with anyone else. At twenty-four years of age, Craig has incredible chops and command of the instrument as well as a sound ail his own."– Just Jazz Guitar
Craig Wagner’s unique approach to fingerstyle guitar includes equal amounts of jazz, funk, blues, rock, pop, bluegrass, and country flavorings. He turns the guitar into a whole musical combo with adventurous techniques incorporating two-handed tapping, polyrhythms, walking bass, banjo rolls, exotic chords, and moving inner voices. His forte is composition and arranging. In this video lesson he presents eye-popping reworkings of the jazz standards Caravan and Cherokee, Herbie Hancock’s Chameleon and Stevie Wonder’s Superstition.
This is a very challenging DVD lesson designed for the advanced fingerstyle guitarist.
