What a great song! I learnt this first hand from Mississippi John Hurt. It is played in the key of C using the John Hurt alternating bass. When I first arrived in England in 1967 this became a staple of my performances. The double entendre lyrics set against an innocent sounding arrangement can tickle any audience.
