Review:
Tablature by Stefan Grossman is the best! This book is jam-packed with a variety of music styles--ragtime, blues, and more. I bought this specifically because it contains tablature from Stefan Grossman.
I have a few other books from him that include CDs in which he guides you step-by-step, note-for-note through the compositions. And although this book does not include CDs or any accompanying online tutoring, I simply find the songs online (or through Amazon Music) by any artist, and that gives me guidance as to the tempo, syncopation, etc.
One other reason I find this book so helpful (along with Grossman's others) is that for 50 years I struggled with this kind of music because I never realized until recently my fingers are shorter than normal people's. The songs in this book are fairly easy for me to play; if you've got normal-length fingers, you will have no problem with this tablature. - Amazon Verified Customer
