Every blues performer had a blues in E, and it seems the Delta boys, Charlie Patton, Willie Brown, Tommy Johnson, and Son House all had a similar version of playing in the E position. “Depot Blues” recorded in the 1940’s can be linked most closely to Willie Browns “M&O Blues” yet still maintains the individual Houseism’s.
