This was also recorded at Johnson's first session in February 1928. It should have been titled By and By Blues. Johnson plays in E position of standard tuning. The song was learned from him by many other musicians, and my version is most influenced by the playing of Mager Johnson, Mott Willis, and Arzo Youngblood. The guitar part has some similarities to figures played by Charley Patton.
