Tommy Johnson recorded "Bye Bye Blues" for Victor Records in 1928. He was accompanied by Charlie McCoy. The arrangement is Tommy's blues in E that bears similarities with Charlie Patton's "Pony Blues" and Willie Brown's "M&O Blues" and Son House's "Depot Blues". In my arrangement I try to combine the playing of Tommy and Charlie McCoy.
