Steve Mann was a dear friend and a great guitarist from California who had a dynamic and original approach to fingerstyle guitar. This instrumental combines ideas and licks from Steve's playing with blues phrases from the playing of Robert Johnson, Son House, Tommy Johnson and other Delta players. It is played in the key of A and has plenty of the proverbial "meat on the bone" for you to explore, understand and play.
